The PPSA holds a number of different types of information on people. These include members, attendees at events organised by PPSA, and subscribers to PPSA's email notifications and printed material. The sections below describe how we control and process the data for each category, and your rights to View, Modify and Erase that data.

Data stored about our members takes a number of forms. The Legal Basis for storage and processing is "Contract".
We store the member details that we display on our website. This includes the company name, contact name, contact details and description of the services the member offers. This can be Viewed on the website. You can Modify or Erase it by emailing PPSA.
We store and process member details for invoicing. This includes the name of the company, contact details of a representative in the company, and details related to billing. You can View, Modify and Erase these by contacting PPSA via email or letter. Erasure can only take place once all outstanding invoices have been settled.
We store email addresses used to notify members about sales leads and other matters relevant to PPSA members. You can View, Modify and Erase these by contacting PPSA via email, phone or letter.
The data stored for attendees at PPSA events includes booker's name, delegate's name, company name, company role, email address, phone number and details related to billing. The Legal Basis for storage and processing is "Contract".
Attendees may View, Modify or Erase (once all outstanding invoices have been paid) by emailing PPSA.
Where applicable, attendees can have the option to give their consent for their name, either with or without their email address, to be included in the event's delegate list.
Attendees will be notified about details of the event via their email address.
The data stored for email notifications includes your email address. The data stored for postal notifications, includes your name, company name, postal address and email address. The Legal Basis for storage and processing is "Consent".
You can Add, View, Modify and Erase your subscription data via the website.
The withdrawal of Consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on Consent before its withdrawal.
Subscriptions may be automatically removed if our email systems determine that your email address is permanently or temporarily inaccessible.
For postal subscriptions, we may share your postal details with our mailing house. Prior to initiating postal mailings we may email you to confirm your postal address.
If we subsequently identify that we need to send your data to a third-party in order to accomplish the task you subscribed to, we will contact you first and give you the opportunity to remove your consent.
